Christmas Season is Here
Dear Church Family,
As we enter the Christmas season, we are experiencing God’s wonderful blessings with the Children’s Christmas play Sunday night and many visitors who came to see the children who did a great job.
Sunday morning, we had several first-time visitors. One was a 79-year-old lady from Mexico who spoke no English, but said through an interpreter that she really liked it because she could sense the presence of the Lord and the love of His people at East Ridge. WOW! How great is that? It gets even better. Monday afternoon, Pastor Juan from Iglesia Batista Victoria and I delivered a Spanish Bible to the lady and he led her to Jesus. She prayed to receive Him as her savior and wants Bro Juan to baptize her. While we were there, her 20-something grandson came in and also trusted Jesus to save him. The lady who brought the grandmother to church Sunday is already handing out Bibles from our church in her neighborhood. Are we excited? Yes sir!
Speaking of handing out Bibles, we will start this week delivering Bibles in Clear Field Ranch Subdivision. Volunteers are needed. See Bro. David to co-ordinate times and get instructions. People are more willing to talk about Jesus during this Christmas season than at any other time of the year. You can be a part of the exciting things that God is doing through East Ridge. Lets’ all get on board and share our Savior.
