Sunday School
Sunday School begins at 9:15 am every Sunday. We have a class for every age group to get involved in. From the smallest newborn (both physically and spiritually) to the “seasoned” adults, we have a place for everyone to dig into the Word with fellow believers! We pray you will join us!
This class will teach you about the Bible in a small group setting that allows you to ask questions and be asked questions that may help you to think of the Bible verses in a different way. Being able to discuss the lessons with other believers is an important aspect that you do not get to do when you just sit and listen to the pastor’s sermon.
We encourage everyone to be in a Sunday School class!
Discipleship Training
Discpleship Training is similar to Sunday School in that you are digging into the Word with your fellow believers; however, this Bible study specifically teaches us how to be a true disciple of Christ. From Bible reading to prayer to sharing our faith with others, it is an area that we need to constantly and consistently improve upon.
What is a disciple? A disciple is someone who has believed the message of the gospel, responded to the call of God in repentant faith, been baptized and, through the power of the Holy Spirit, is seeking to understand and obey all that Jesus taught his first disciples. (Matt 28:19)
Do you need to learn more about being a good disciple of Christ? Of course you do! Join us at 5:30 pm on Sunday evenings!
Wednesday Bible Study
Wednesday Bible Study is different than the rest of our services and Bible studies. First we go through our church prayer list, add new people to be prayed for, and give praise to what God has done throughout the week. We then have a time of prayer before going into our Bible study.
This Bible study is lead by our Pastor in the sanctuary in a more laid back setting. This setting allows us to learn from our pastor but also be able to ask questions have discussion. When we listen to his sermons, we often do not have the opportunity to ask questions, but this allows us to interact with him and with our church family in a larger group than Sunday School or Discipleship Training.
