Baptisms, Baptist Men’s Day, and Tracts!
We can’t praise God enough for all that He is doing.
Saturday, we had a large group who braved the cold rainy weather and handed out over 1500 Gospel tracts at the Rodeo. Please pray that those Gospel seeds will sprout and bring forth a harvest of souls.
Sunday was Baptist Men’s Day. The church was packed with a large number of visitors. Three of our men, Gary Rickert, Craig Winn, and Christopher Gunter shared their salvation testimonies. Brother David Dishong baptized two of his daughters, Cheryl and Chloe. Then, he preached a great sermon about Jonah.
It was a Hallelujah Sunday.
God has opened a door for us to do a prayer-walk at another elementary school. The tentative date is February 20. We will be praying for every teacher and worker, in every classroom, office, cafeteria, etc. We will offer to pray with individuals for their specific needs. If you would like to join us, please contact Shirley McManus or the church office. If you can’t go, you can participate by praying for those who do.
This Sunday afternoon, we will be handing out Gospel Tract at the Children’s Mardi Gras Parade. It is a very large parade. There will be thousands of families lining the parade route just waiting for someone to share Jesus with them through a tract. We need a lot of volunteers. Will you help? Meet at Tech Electric Co., 425 Sallier St. @ 2pm.
